-Then how do the orangutans control society? They use gorillas. The Gorillas are strong and many. They follow the orangutans because they are 'in control'. Chimpanzees recognise when some irreverent phrase becomes mechanised as a self-fulfilling propaganda tool. The Chimpanzees strive for change and growth within their society. A society they see as boundless.
Now the orangutans do have moral codes. And some, above sustaining power, wish to sustain the prevalent trends of whatever moral outlook they control.
The marked difference between chimpanzees and orangutans is honesty. Honesty can change the world. For this reason (with the gorillas help of course) the orangutans increase the use of generalities. Key words equate to badness and goodness. The safe feeling created assures the orangutans the necessary superior feeling that all apes need to survive.
Chimpanzees usually have a slow effect upon society. The orangutans will cling on to the heights of power for as long as humanely possible.
There is another group of apes in society. The gibbons. Most members of society are gibbons. There are even more gibbons than gorillas. Gibbons share a similarity with gorillas, they are almost completely oblivious to the struggle between orangutans and chimpanzees. The difference is they are almost completely uninvolved. Gibbons are the most distracted group. They remain distracted.
Orangutans at times uphold or even create some of these distractions. Mainly, Gibbons make there own distractions. Briefly, one common distraction is spiritualism. Although it is a natural part of any early civilization, the orangutans have a certain fondness for spiritualism. In a designed view of the world, their own privileged state seems more natural and fair.
Finally I can give you some examples of chimpanzees; Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Friedrich Nietzsche, William Shakespeare ...
